Site Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid remote/office work with regular presence at industrial construction sites. Willingness to work at construction sites in and outside Germany is required.

What you will do

• Plan and organize daily activities at industrial construction sites with the site team.
• Take overall responsibility for onsite works, site staff, implementation, schedule, cost, and quality within the assigned hirify.global scope.
• Represent project management to customers, authorities, contractors, partners, and consultants.
• Lead EHS compliance and promote Zero Harm practices across the site scope.
• Manage deviations, non-conformances, contract and claim activities, risks, corrective measures, and escalations.
• Review cost accounting and erection schedules, maintain open-point information, support site reporting, and close technical changes before milestones.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in complex industrial EPC and/or consortium construction projects.
• At least 5 years of onsite experience in a leading electrical, mechanical, or civil site role.
• Knowledge of construction and commissioning processes and methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of EHS policies, regulations, practices, and plans for complex construction projects.
• Experience leading multinational teams, with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical or civil engineering; project management certification is an advantage.
