Data Architect (GCP)

What you will do

• Architect and create data pipelines, data platforms, and data warehouses on GCP.
• Lead and mentor data and engineering teams, including guiding agile practices.
• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle and actively implement architectural plans.
• Support presales activities and deliver proof-of-concept solutions.
• Act as a GCP technical consultant and trainer for client engineering teams.
• Manage stakeholders and resolve conflicts while supporting holistic project delivery.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of hands-on coding experience as a data architect, using Java or Python and SQL.
• Technical leadership skills to guide internal engineers and client engineers, with the ability to take a lead role in data-team agile practices.
• Working experience with a major cloud provider: GCP, Azure, or AWS; current work is focused on GCP.
• Strong practical knowledge of modern cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, or similar.
• Practical knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow, including Cloud Composer, MWAA, or self-managed deployments.
• Practical knowledge of dbt Core.
• Up-to-date hands-on knowledge of agentic AI tools for building software solutions.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate with stakeholders, resolve conflicts, keep technical knowledge current, and share expertise.
