Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid workplace with occasional on-site presence at client or company offices.

What you will do

• Design and implement modern data architectures and lakehouse solutions using Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and AWS.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles and collaborate with business stakeholders.
• Create effort estimations and provide technical expertise during pre-sales activities.
• Mentor project teams of 3–6 people and ensure code quality through code reviews.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in AWS or Azure and Databricks or Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or PySpark.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex data solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Hungarian.
• Valid B2B or contractor status with the ability to issue invoices.
