Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP/Laravel)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid

Salary: €70,000–€85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Build and ship full-stack features across PHP/Laravel APIs and React user interfaces.
• Design technical solutions, background jobs, REST endpoints, and MySQL migrations.
• Implement domain logic for CPC bidding, advertising budgets, and campaign eligibility.
• Maintain strictly typed API contracts using OpenAPI or TypeSpec.
• Own production stability through automated testing, AWS ECS deployments, and Datadog/Sentry monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product on feature breakdown, estimation, code reviews, and short agile iterations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience building and scaling production web applications.
• Strong PHP 8 and Laravel expertise, including REST APIs, background queues, validation, and MySQL performance tuning.
• Strong TypeScript and React or Vue skills, including server state and typed API clients.
• Experience with contract-first API design using OpenAPI or TypeSpec and automated testing with PHPUnit, Vitest, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, AWS, Redis, Datadog/Sentry, and AI coding assistants such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Autonomous end-to-end ownership, pragmatic delivery, clear communication, and effective collaboration with Product.

Nice to have

• Ad-tech, marketplace, bidding, budgeting, or e-commerce experience.
• Laravel Eloquent or Horizon, Ant Design, MobX, styled-components, PHPStan/Larastan, Rector, ESLint, or Nx monorepos.
• Experience with OpenSearch or BigQuery.
