Lean Facilitator

Location: China, Changshu, Perkins; onsite shop-floor role

What you will do

• Raise shop-floor capability through employee development, skill transfer, and improvement coaching.
• Improve process stability and productivity through standardization, Lean implementation, waste elimination, and flow optimization.
• Lead quality audits and RCCA activities, including issue analysis, corrective actions, and recurrence prevention.
• Use process and manufacturing data to visualize issues, develop improvement plans, and execute actions.
• Improve productivity and cost through bottleneck elimination, material optimization, and collaboration with manufacturing, equipment, and quality functions.

Requirements

• Ability to lead improvements and teach improvement thinking so employees can drive improvements independently.
• Solid understanding of quality audits, RCCA, process capability, and corrective action processes.
• Ability to coach team members and develop their analytical capabilities.
• Ability to identify issues and create improvement plans using process and manufacturing data.
• Ability to teach data analysis methods and build a team that makes data-driven decisions.
• Ability to build trust with shop-floor teams and communicate in a way that supports employee growth.
• Ability to adapt direction, support, questioning, and coaching to raise team maturity.
• Ability to clarify issues, teach problem decomposition and hypothesis formation, and execute improvements.
• Ability to build a team culture that continuously solves problems independently.
