Ocean Forwarding Agent (Logistics)

What you will do

• Manage smooth and timely freight processing for import and export shipments.
• Enter shipment data accurately, monitor exception reports, and track and trace Order Management files.
• Coordinate customs clearance, freight delivery, arrival notices, and shipment documentation.
• Handle customer and vendor billing, service-provider charges, credit approvals, and intercompany invoice payments.
• Communicate with customers, shipping lines, trucking companies, and overseas teams while maintaining service standards.
• Follow operational procedures, customer SOPs, compliance requirements, audit standards, and KPI targets; escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent English.
• Good computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Word.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a professional manner.
• Positive, helpful attitude and effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely to achieve positive results.
• Commitment to completing 52 hours of company training per year, including management or leadership training as needed.
