Validation and Testing Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute validation and testing strategies for data products.
• Develop and maintain testing tools and integrations between multiple systems, APIs, and cloud-based services.
• Create test plans, test cases, test documentation, and automated testing scenarios.
• Validate data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness across complex data pipelines and platforms; analyze results and identify root causes.
• Use AI-powered tools to optimize testing, improve coverage, and identify quality risks.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Data Engineering, and Operations teams while supporting multiple projects and release readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing, validation, or quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience writing detailed test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies and their practical use in testing and validation.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
• Experience developing or customizing testing tools, automation frameworks, or validation utilities.
• Experience validating complex data products and data-driven systems.
• Knowledge of Python, scripting, or test automation development, along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment with aggressive timelines and collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams.
