Software Engineer - Fullstack Java (IKEA Range Experience)

Location: Malmö, Sweden; hybrid, with the majority of the time spent in the workplace.

What you will do

• Develop digital solutions that enable customers and businesses to configure and design home furnishing spaces.
• Build and maintain fullstack capabilities using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
• Develop web interfaces, REST APIs, and integrations for hirify.global’s home furnishing solutions.
• Work with databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues across teams in an agile, iterative, and DevOps-oriented environment.
• Provide third-line support and participate in on-call duties when required by the assignment.

Requirements

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Experience with web development, including HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, API consumption, and frontend performance optimization.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with databases, SQL and/or NoSQL.
• Experience with cloud technologies, Azure or AWS.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with observability and monitoring, such as Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
• Fluent written and spoken English, strong communication and networking skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
