Sr Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

Location: Hybrid work from the Stockholm office, Sweden

Salary: SEK 745,000–1,110,000 per year, depending on experience

hirify.global provides a Customer Communications Cloud with messaging, voice, email, APIs, and applications used to create customer communication experiences.

What you will do

• Design and build customer onboarding and KYC features across React interfaces and Node.js/TypeScript services.
• Build REST APIs and work with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Write backend and frontend tests and maintain quality through code reviews and CI/CD.
• Turn unclear requirements into clear plans and make sound technical decisions.
• Investigate root causes of production issues and take ownership of product outcomes.
• Improve engineering practices through mentoring and code reviews.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong REST API design and development skills.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases and React, including hooks, state management, and component design.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, web performance, testing, Git, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Clear written and spoken English and willingness to work in a hybrid format from the Stockholm office.

Nice to have

• Java with Spring or Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Docker and cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Monitoring, logging, and security best-practice knowledge.
