Senior Fullstack Developer (Kotlin/React): Building mission-critical backend and frontend systems for public safety organisations with an accent on scalable architecture, API and data model design, reliability, and intuitive user experiences. Focus on making architectural decisions, establishing engineering standards, solving complex system design challenges, and using AI development tools across the product lifecycle.
Location: Solna, Sweden — Hybrid

What you will do
- Design and build high-quality backend and frontend systems using Kotlin, Spring Boot, React and TypeScript.
- Make architectural and technical decisions across APIs, data models, modularisation, testing and system design.
- Work with design to create intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
- Review code, collaborate on complex engineering challenges and establish reusable engineering patterns.
- Use AI development tools to support development, debugging, code review and design exploration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Kotlin, Spring Boot, React and TypeScript.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards.
- Experience taking an early-stage product or codebase to scalable foundations.
- Strong architectural judgement and confidence contributing to UX and UI discussions.
- Strong English communication skills and active use of AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
Nice to have
- Experience in safety-critical, regulated or high-availability environments.
- Experience hiring or onboarding senior engineers.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes and modern CI/CD.
- Experience introducing AI-assisted development practices to a team.
