Senior Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in Stockholm, Sweden

Salary: €80,000–150,000 per year, calibrated to experience, plus meaningful equity.

hirify.global is building a travel app that helps groups discover and plan restaurants, hotels, bars, and experiences using collaborative planning and AI agents.

What you will do

• Translate the product vision into technical bets and solve the highest-value problems.
• Own architecture for 100x current load, including concurrency, AI cost, collaborative state, and mobile content delivery.
• Establish observability, error tracking, end-to-end coverage, structured logging, alerting, and runbooks.
• Build CI, preview environments, and automated migrations to increase engineering velocity.
• Stay hands-on in the code and ship production work every week alongside the founders.
• Set the engineering bar for future hires, including job design, interviews, and onboarding.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production systems.
• Experience serving as the senior-most engineer in a small team.
• Deep TypeScript experience across the stack with React and Node or Deno.
• Experience levelling up other engineers and making architecture decisions independently.
• Experience with real-time multiplayer at scale, payments and bookings, or RLS-heavy Postgres systems.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in Stockholm.

Nice to have

• Mobile delivery experience with Capacitor, React Native, or native mobile technologies.
• Pragmatic experience with observability and security.
• Experience shipping AI agents to real users, including context engineering, tool design, agent evaluations, and model provider routing.
