Senior Full-stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from Bulgaria, Ireland, or the United Kingdom; working-hour overlap with US time zones, Eastern preferred. Up to 10% travel is required for team collaboration, customer engagements, and company events, including the annual company offsite, typically held in Mexico.

Salary: Ireland €95,000–€110,000 annually; United Kingdom £105,000–£115,000 annually; Bulgaria €6,500+ gross per month.

What you will do

• Build AI agents with tools, prompts, guardrails, memory, and multi-turn workflows that determine when to act, ask questions, or hand off to a human.
• Develop the full product experience, including in-product chat, streaming responses, permission-aware APIs, and an external MCP server.
• Take features from experimentation through production across the Python agent runtime, MCP server, and Django/Vue application.
• Build evaluation systems, identify regressions, and use production feedback to improve AI quality, latency, and cost.
• Help define how agents are designed, deployed, and operated as the product grows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building production software.
• Fluent Python skills, including async programming, with experience in FastAPI, FastMCP, or Django.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered features or agents to real customers, including exposing tools via MCP.
• Practical understanding of prompting, tool use, context management, and model failure modes.
• Experience measuring AI quality and using findings to improve it.
• Strong API and tool design skills, including authentication and authorization.
• Proactive use of AI tools in day-to-day work to improve productivity and accelerate delivery.
• Fluent English communication and working-hour overlap with US time zones, with Eastern preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent frameworks such as Pydantic AI, LangGraph, or the OpenAI Agents SDK.
• Experience with MCP servers and LLM tooling.
• Knowledge of AI evaluation tools and methods, including DeepEval and LLM-as-judge.
• Experience with streaming UIs, server-sent events, and Vue.js.
• Experience with LLM observability.
• Experience with AI security, including prompt injection defenses and tenant isolation.
