Staff Hardware Engineer (Advanced Packaging)

What you will do

• Lead a design team developing and delivering ultra-high-performance electronic products.
• Own and design critical parts of the hardware solution, including BOM creation, vendor negotiations, circuit design, and board design.
• Develop and validate a product range across the full lifecycle from product inception to volume production.
• Support customer trials, field issues, and product sustaining after shipment.
• Collaborate with Hardware, ASIC, Signal, Mechanical, Thermal, Diagnostic, Packaging, and Manufacturing engineers.
• Interact with partner engineering teams at an engineering leadership level on joint development programs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience placing large, high-powered SoCs using advanced silicon and packaging technologies, including 2D, 2.5D, and 2.5D with 3D memories.
• Deep understanding of and experience with PCB board layout.
• Experience owning complex products throughout their lifecycle, participating in cross-functional development from product inception through volume production.
• Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Customer Support, Compliance, Safety, and Sustainability groups.
