Project Manager (SaaS)

What you will do

• Own the full life cycle of customer projects, including new implementations, updates, change requests, and transition to customer support or success.
• Develop project plans, timelines, tasks, milestones, deliverables, and expected outcomes with delivery, product, implementation, technical, and customer teams.
• Maintain project schedules and communicate milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, upcoming deliverables, and status to leadership, project leads, and clients.
• Identify conflicts across projects, clients, deliverables, and software releases, and support schedule revisions and client communication.
• Measure project performance, improve project management processes and the deployment pipeline, and identify opportunities for custom client solutions.
• Lead and motivate project contributors, collaborate closely with clients, support strategic planning, and drive project success and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Project management experience in a SaaS company, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget.
• Experience working in wildland fire, forestry, electric utilities, or a related discipline.
• Experience with project management software such as Smartsheet, Notion, and Jira, or equivalent tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps.
• Strong problem-solving ability and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated success working remotely while completing multiple complex projects simultaneously on time and within budget.
• Strong organization, self-motivation, creativity, resourcefulness, accountability, leadership, management, and collaboration qualities.

Nice to have

• Experience managing or using the Agile development process.
• Formal project management training.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, or natural science.
• Valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute.
