Assistant Director, Servicing Strategy & Analytics (AI)

Location: Tempe, Arizona; hybrid work with an on-site expectation of at least three days per week.

What you will do

• Develop and execute data-driven strategies and business cases for major company initiatives and performance improvement.
• Partner with senior leaders and product, technology, data science, business intelligence, and operations teams.
• Become the subject matter expert for servicing and loss mitigation processes, data, reporting infrastructure, and strategic decision-making.
• Lead and manage an analytical team through project execution.
• Identify, track, and forecast organizational drivers and transactions while driving improvements in operational and transaction profitability.
• Communicate concise insights and visualizations and use emerging technologies to innovate and automate methodologies, processes, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, engineering, finance, statistics, mathematics, or another quantitative or hard-science field.
• 4+ years of experience in business analytics or strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to add financial value in prior roles.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Ability to write SQL and demonstrate advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting, verbal, and written communication skills, including communication with management and varied audiences.
• Confidence and willingness to use AI tools and resources without compromising data integrity, along with intellectual curiosity, goal orientation, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Loss mitigation or auto finance experience.
• Experience creating AI agents, applications, or dashboards.
• Advanced coding knowledge such as SQL and Python.
• Experience with dashboard creation or data infrastructure.
• 2+ years of leadership or people management experience.
