Sr. Indirect Buyer

Location: On-site in Juarez, Nuevo León, Mexico, supporting the Monterrey 3.0 site. Global relocation/LTA support is not available.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end procurement for indirect materials, MRO supplies, consumables, spare parts, tools, PPE, and services.
• Convert approved purchase requisitions into accurate purchase orders in line with procurement policies.
• Monitor orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and material availability.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supplier agreements while maintaining supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve shortages, discrepancies, delivery issues, and service concerns.
• Align purchasing with demand forecasts, stock levels, lead times, and operational priorities, while supporting supplier performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, materials management, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive experience purchasing indirect materials, MRO supplies, consumables, and services.
• Practical experience with ERP systems, including SAP, purchase order management, inventory transactions, material planning, and procurement reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, negotiation and supplier management experience, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or a similar supply chain certification.
