Intern (Procurement)

Location: Hybrid role based at Punto Polanco in Mexico City, Mexico; other location: TecnoParque GBS, Mexico.

What you will do

• Support purchase order creation and follow-up for buyers and internal stakeholders.
• Track supplier quotations and respond to supplier and internal user inquiries.
• Assist with supplier creation, maintenance, development, and related projects.
• Support supplier negotiations, sourcing activities, and procurement initiatives.
• Prepare procurement reports and perform data analysis.
• Assist with purchasing and supply chain administration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, chemical engineering, food engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Active student status and graduation date compatible with a 12-month internship.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday on a part-time internship schedule in a hybrid setup.
• Advanced English proficiency in verbal, written, and reading comprehension.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, functions, filters, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, analytical skills, attention to detail, and interest in procurement, purchasing, and supply chain processes.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Power BI.
• Academic or internship experience with SAP.
• Interest in supplier management, sourcing, or risk assessment.
