Head of Product (Healthcare)

Location: Remote; New York City, United States

Salary: $175K–$250K per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own product and product design end to end, including strategy, roadmap, team development, and execution, reporting to the CTO.
• Develop a deep understanding of users, the market, and the healthcare and consumer product surfaces.
• Define and pressure-test product strategy with the founders and translate it into a prioritized roadmap.
• Own product development from discovery through delivery, maintain direct contact with users and customers, and ship meaningful products that drive real outcomes.
• Partner closely with Engineering, the CTO, CEO, Commercial team, board, partners, and recruiting stakeholders.
• Build product and design ways of working that support rigor, speed, quality, and accountability to outcomes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product experience, including meaningful time at early-stage or high-growth companies.
• Deep consumer product experience and experience finding product-market fit rather than inheriting it.
• Proven ability to grow and lead a product organization, including hiring, developing, and retaining product managers and designers in early-stage environments.
• Experience owning product design as well as product management, with strong design sensibility and a high bar for product quality and craft.
• Direct, clear executive-level communication while maintaining attention to detail.
• High ownership mindset, builder-first approach, comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities, and willingness to stay close to execution.
• Strategic and execution-focused approach, with the ability to operate at both organizational and product-detail levels.
• Direct, low-ego collaboration, strong feedback skills, and the ability to earn the respect of engineers.
• Experience shipping products in real-world evidence, health data, or biopharma-adjacent contexts; familiarity with FHIR, CCDA, claims data, EHR/EMR integrations, or similar ecosystems; and experience in a data-as-product environment are valuable domain qualifications.
