Manager, Applied AI Cyber Specialists (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid policy requiring all staff to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.

Annual salary: $1–$2 USD.

What you will do

• Build and lead the first Applied AI Architects team focused on security customers; hire, onboard, coach, and develop senior and early-career architects.
• Set customer segments, account priorities, architect coverage, and team capacity decisions.
• Partner with security account executives on account plans, pipeline and forecast reviews, and enterprise deals.
• Guide customers through discovery, evaluations, proofs of concept, and sustained security workloads including application security, automated penetration testing, alert triage, investigation, and vulnerability and threat intelligence.
• Coordinate with security ISVs, systems integrators, managed security providers, Applied AI Engineering, Security, Legal, and Trust teams.
• Create security playbooks, reference implementations, and evaluation approaches; support strategic accounts through CISO briefings and engineering workshops and share learnings with Product, Engineering, and Research.

Requirements

• 12+ years of industry experience and at least 4 years managing customer-facing technical professionals, such as solutions architects, sales engineers, or security consultants, with evidence of team growth and performance.
• Hands-on security expertise in at least one area, such as application security, detection and response, offensive security, or vulnerability management, at a depth that earns practitioners’ trust. Application security experience is highly preferred.
• Experience using LLMs for real security work, including code review, vulnerability discovery, triage, or investigation, with an understanding of where they help and fail.
• Experience managing large enterprise security deals end to end, including customer security reviews in close partnership with Sales.
• Ability to explain security risk and value to CISOs and engineers in terms relevant to each audience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Education, training, or professional experience in a field relevant to the role.
• Years of experience must correlate with the internal job-level requirements.
