Scheduler/Planner

Salary: CAD 55,650–83,104 per year

What you will do

• Prepare and maintain production, master, operational, and shop work-order schedules, including material processing and requisitioning.
• Monitor work centers, provide line-level guidance, and coordinate specifications and timelines with other schedulers.
• Develop capacity models, peak-season plans, forecasts, comparative analyses, and studies of inventory, delivery times, fill rates, distribution, and networks.
• Prepare business analyses, research, reports, graphs, and charts to identify trends and optimize production efficiency.
• Interface with the Jersey finishing operation, customers, vendors, subcontractors, Supply Chain, Materials Management, and Logistics stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement, lean problem-solving, quality initiatives, waste reduction, safety, housekeeping, cross-functional goals, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Logistics, Finance, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 3+ years of previous scheduling, planning, or Supply Chain experience required.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain, Materials Management, and Logistics, with familiarity in process documentation and improvement.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication, critical-thinking, negotiation, project-management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations.
• Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented working style with urgency, ownership, flexibility, customer focus, and the ability to interface across management levels and cross-functional groups.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• ELS certification and/or Green Belt certification.
