Insider Threat Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, Charlotte, North Carolina, United States of America; occasional domestic travel required

What you will do

• Provide enterprise-wide subject matter expertise across cybersecurity and information security domains.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct research and root cause analysis, and develop remediation plans.
• Advise on cybersecurity projects of low to moderate complexity within the area of specialization.
• Assemble enterprise-level metrics for internal, management, and regulatory reporting.
• Research and document enterprise processes and create gap analysis reports.
• Analyze reports, malware alerts, emerging threats, and their potential impact on the bank’s security controls; recommend action plans to management.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of one or more technology controls, information security domains, disciplines, and practices.
• Sound knowledge of organizational, technology control, security, and risk issues.
• Ability to prioritize and manage an independent workload while delivering quality results and meeting timelines under management guidance.
• Ability to perform research, evaluation, assessment, operational, reporting, and analytical support for technology controls and information security programs.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Information security certification or accreditation is an asset.
