HSSE&Q Field Support Advisor

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid, with 80% field work and travel to land and offshore project sites for extended periods as required.

What you will do

• Support operational activities and projects at worksites while championing HSSE culture, compliance, and continual improvement.
• Provide technical HSSE guidance to management, employees, contractors, stakeholders, and clients.
• Support field operations through coaching, mentoring, client engagements, risk management, audits, investigations, project documentation, and learning-team facilitation.
• Monitor compliance with HSSE regulations, standards, procedures, company policies, and local requirements.
• Conduct worksite, equipment, and process inspections, audits, hazard observations, and spot verifications of project risk controls.
• Develop and implement risk assessment and management strategies for project changes, processes, and activities.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
• At least 5 years of experience in an HSSE role, preferably in a similar industry or operations management role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record.
• Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), or ability to obtain one.
• Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods, including land and offshore project site visits, inspections, incident investigations, client meetings, and other HSSE functions.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting worksites, including OSHA, DOT, EPA, NFPA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Strong knowledge of offshore safety requirements and strong working knowledge of computers and common business software applications.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Risk Management.
• HSSE certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
