Scientist (Oral Care)

Location: Mason Business Center, Mason, Ohio, United States; full-time onsite attendance 5 days per week.

Salary: $92,000–$116,500 per year.

What you will do

• Modernize and transform legacy in vitro testing methods, including optimizing, automating, and scaling experimental and digital workflows.
• Generate, validate, and defend product claims by designing testing proposals, developing technical support packages, and preparing scientific justifications for regulatory clearances, marketing claims, and product launches.
• Identify and apply measurement, microscopy, and imaging technologies to visualize and quantify product benefits.
• Collaborate with data scientists, formulators, and clinical teams to connect formulation composition, laboratory models, and human outcomes.
• Integrate experimental data into predictive digital models and support faster R&D development timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Proven experience designing rigorous, highly reproducible laboratory experiments and developing robust testing protocols.
• Strong interest in life science, including the micro-architecture of dental tissues and plaque.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex laboratory findings into clear, actionable insights for multifunctional project teams.
• Experience collaborating across Formulation, Process Development, Safety & Regulatory, Professional Relations, and Brand teams.
• High learning agility in a fast-paced R&D environment, including the ability to pivot quickly, balance competing priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Availability to work full time at the Mason Business Center location 5 days per week.
