Associate R&D Specialist Lab (Healthcare)

Location: On-site in Mundelein, Illinois, United States; may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Salary: $62,000–$93,000 annual; bonus and/or incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Support the development of new products and technologies within the R&D group.
• Plan, execute, or facilitate testing required to support product claims, including performance, chemical, stability, biocompatibility, toxicological, and risk assessment activities.
• Author test protocols and reports.
• Compile and review test results against regulatory testing requirements.
• Compile data summaries supporting product claims.
• Ensure compliance in research, data collection, and reporting related to biocompatibility and R&D product development, design, stability, safety, and efficacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• No prior work experience is required.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for domestic and international business purposes.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of R&D or laboratory experience in the healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of biocompatibility and a general understanding of material physical and chemical properties.
