Web Developer (AI)

Location: Brazil; fully remote. Preferred location: Latin America. Working hours: 9 am to 5 pm EST. US holidays.

Salary: $1,600–$2,000 per month.

Digital marketing agency serving cannabis dispensaries across North America through custom websites, SEO, loyalty programs, and email marketing.

What you will do

• Design and build websites and landing pages by converting Figma mockups into WordPress and Elementor pages.
• Use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor daily for code generation, Figma-to-Elementor workflows, debugging, and repetitive-task automation.
• Manage high-volume maintenance and change requests, including content updates, banners, links, plugins, and layout fixes.
• Troubleshoot CMS issues using custom PHP, CSS, and JavaScript, and work with WordPress, Shopify, PrestaShop, Drupal, Blaze, and Treez.
• Integrate cannabis menu platforms, support migrations, DNS, Cloudflare, and reverse-proxy configurations, and implement technical SEO including GA4, GTM, schema, redirects, indexing, and Core Web Vitals.
• Ensure WCAG accessibility and cannabis compliance requirements, including age gates and state disclaimers, and create technical documentation for site builds.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional web development experience, including hands-on experience from before modern AI tools emerged.
• Experience with US clients and a digital marketing agency.
• Strong design sense and a portfolio of well-performing, visually appealing websites.
• Experience managing a high volume of websites simultaneously in an agency or multi-client setting.
• Deep proficiency with WordPress and multiple page builders, particularly Elementor.
• Hands-on experience with non-WordPress CMS platforms such as Shopify, PrestaShop, Drupal, or cannabis platforms including Blaze and Treez, plus the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a strong understanding of underlying code structures.
• Daily use of AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor, with concrete examples of time-saving workflows.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and web accessibility standards including WCAG.
• Clear written English communication skills and comfort working asynchronously in remote teams.

• Experience in the wellness niche, specifically with cannabis dispensaries.
