Senior Web Developer (PHP)

Location: Fully remote. Light travel may be required to support clients or attend company events.

Salary: $84,000–$100,000 annually.

What you will do

• Consult with internal staff and clients to identify needs and develop web applications and technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain web-based forms, programs, databases, websites, and intranet sites.
• Provide technical support for web, email, PC, security, and other technology-related issues.
• Administer email, database, and web servers, including configuration, installation, monitoring, and account maintenance.
• Support sales staff as a sales engineer by evaluating and proposing technologies.
• Research issues, implement enhancements, document solutions, and recommend improvements to systems and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of PHP 7 and MariaDB development experience, including MariaDB administration.
• At least 5 years of Linux/UNIX operating system experience, including Linux/UNIX server administration and Apache 2.
• At least 7 years of website development experience with HTML and CSS, including advanced HTML for current browser technologies.
• At least 4 years of JavaScript or TypeScript experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, organization, and independent working skills.
