Web Developer (AI)

Location: Fully remote from Colombia; preferred location is Latin America. Working hours are 9 am to 5 pm EST.

Salary: USD 1,600–2,000 per month.

What you will do

• Design and build websites and landing pages from Figma mockups using WordPress and Elementor.
• Use Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other AI tools for code generation, debugging, design-to-page conversion, and task automation.
• Manage high-volume maintenance and change requests, including content, banners, links, plugins, and layout fixes.
• Troubleshoot CMS issues with custom PHP, CSS, and JavaScript across client websites.
• Work with cannabis e-commerce CMSs and menu platforms, including Blaze, Treez, Dutchie, Jane, COVA, and Breadstack.
• Handle migrations, DNS, Cloudflare, reverse proxies, technical SEO, accessibility, cannabis compliance, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional web development experience, including experience before modern AI tools emerged.
• Strong design sense and a portfolio of well-performing, visually appealing websites.
• Experience managing a high volume of websites simultaneously in an agency or multi-client setting.
• Deep proficiency with WordPress and multiple page builders, particularly Elementor.
• Hands-on experience with non-WordPress CMS platforms such as Shopify, PrestaShop, Drupal, Blaze, or Treez, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a strong understanding of underlying code structures.
• Daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor, with concrete examples of time-saving workflows.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and WCAG web accessibility standards.
• Experience with U.S. clients and a digital marketing agency.
• Clear written English communication skills and comfort working asynchronously in a remote team.
