Software Engineer (.NET/React)

Location: Fully remote, with candidates required to be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Develop software using C#/.NET or React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Work with relational databases and SQL.
• Build and maintain automated unit, integration, or end-to-end tests.
• Use AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code in daily development.
• Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.
• Contribute to systems involving legacy technologies and modernization or migration work.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of software development experience with C#/.NET or React/TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, including automated unit, integration, or end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on daily use of AI coding agents, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.
• Willingness to work with legacy technologies such as COBOL, Delphi, PowerBuilder, FoxPro, or WinDev.
• Fluent English at C1 level.
• Availability for fully remote work from Portugal, with Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with COBOL, Delphi, PowerBuilder, FoxPro, or WinDev.
• Experience with legacy modernization or migration projects.
