iOS Software Engineer III

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $156,000–$176,000 annual base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, implement, launch, and maintain critical user-facing features for the hirify.global Me patient-facing iOS app.
• Develop features end to end and contribute to cross-platform mobile development.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with mobile, backend, and frontend engineering teams, as well as UX, Product, Test, and Quality Engineering.
• Align with Android engineers to maintain cross-platform consistency and improve mobile developer productivity.
• Define requirements, design mocks, implement regulatory protocols, and communicate engineering tradeoffs across functions.

Requirements

• Strong computer science fundamentals and a BS in Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of industry experience developing iOS mobile applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Native app development experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of modern iOS frameworks and architecture, such as TCA.
• Strong interest in UX and empathy for users.
• Familiarity with automated testing.
• Some full-stack development experience, including backend services and web frontends.
• Experience or enthusiasm for building high-quality public-facing iOS apps, including a hobby project published on the App Store.
