Operations and Maintenance Coordinator (Chemical)

Location: UK - Wilton; predominantly day shift, with occasional flexibility to support training and operational requirements on other shifts and weekends.

What you will do

• Own, prepare, issue, control, and maintain Safe Systems of Work documentation, including Work Control Permits and Energy Isolation Procedures.
• Coordinate planned maintenance activities with Operations and Engineering teams and align daily operational requirements with shift teams.
• Coordinate activities across Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Planning.
• Audit, monitor, and update Energy Isolation Procedures, Job Safety Analyses, and other relevant documentation.
• Support improvement projects and relevant EHS groups across the site.
• Respond to changing plant requirements and short-notice operational needs while ensuring work is prepared and carried out safely.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification.
• Demonstrable experience with Safe Systems of Work and Work Control.
• Experience within the chemical industry or another highly regulated industry.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others in a multi-shift site environment.
• Ability to manage changing and competing priorities across different teams.
• Ability to respond effectively to short-notice operational requirements.
• High personal standards, strong people skills, and personal conviction.
