Commercial Construction Project Manager (Mission Critical)

What you will do

• Develop, coordinate, implement, and manage commercial construction projects through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements are met.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, milestones, logistics, monthly owner reports, and closeout activities.
• Develop and coordinate pre-construction RFP packages and manage project processes including RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and subcontract change orders.
• Lead project meetings and serve as the liaison between clients, project team members, subcontractors, vendors, the superintendent, and site operations.
• Supervise and coach assistant project management, administrative, MEP, safety, and other operations support roles.
• Maintain client relationships, discuss customer needs, and explain how company services can address them.

Requirements

• High school diploma required. A four-year degree from an accredited university in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred; additional work experience may substitute for a degree.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Previous project management experience with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to master project-specific software, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.
• Mastery of reading, interpreting, and updating construction project drawings.
• Ability to organize people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve required results.
• Knowledge of current market conditions, pricing conventions, and pricing trends.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, presentation, initiative, integrity, adaptability, collaboration, customer service, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to recognize quality requirements, apply contractual and HITT quality standards, foster relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and coach assistant-level operations team members.
