Senior Software Engineer

Location: Franklin, WI Corporate, United States of America; onsite role.

Salary: $118,960–$178,440 per year. Geographic-specific pay structures may apply, including $130,880–$196,320 and $136,800–$205,200.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications.
• Lead modern full-stack solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on scalable system architectures and complex cross-system challenges.
• Conduct code and design reviews, establish engineering standards, and promote reusable patterns and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers while partnering with Product Managers, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Quality Engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement through refactoring, automation, DevOps practices, CI/CD adoption, documentation, and Agile delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in systems and integration architecture, including API design and development, authentication and authorization frameworks, systems of record and data integration, enterprise integration patterns, and vendor and third-party platform integrations.
• Experience designing and delivering scalable, distributed applications.
• Experience leading technical design discussions and mentoring development teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile software delivery practices.
• Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Hands-on proficiency with programming languages required by the team, such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, or Go.
• Knowledge of microservices, cloud technology, containerization, and software engineering practices for reliable application delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting production systems and conducting root cause analysis for critical incidents.
