Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using engineering concepts and lean principles to improve productivity, reduce waste, and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, planning, maintenance, and facility teams on process improvements, standardization, documentation, and training.
• Develop solutions for complex manufacturing problems involving plant layout, design, construction, and operational procedures.
• Support new equipment installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Analyze root causes, drive manufacturing issues to resolution, and provide daily technical direction and prioritization to the maintenance team.
• Support technical product assistance, engineered products, sales documentation, manufacturing procedures, quality systems, standard work, and production-floor operations.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other solid modeling software.
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement, metric development, and problem-solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a detail-oriented and analytical approach.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to accept assignments of all types, including intermittent travel of up to 10%.
• Must currently be authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer-sponsored immigration support now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with machinery, mechanical equipment, construction materials, construction methods, and construction equipment.
• General knowledge of steel fabrication processes such as welding, CNC milling, and facing.
• Familiarity with basic engineering principles and strong mathematical ability.
