Sr. Architect, IT-Data Architecture

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States; hybrid workplace with a required minimum number of onsite days per week. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Salary: $152,000–$198,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design and implement data architectures for data pipelines.
• Create and maintain data models that represent and optimize data for enterprise databases.
• Advise data engineers on data pipeline development best practices.
• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines for stakeholder access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and integrate data analytics into business operations.
• Implement data privacy and security controls and stay current with data architecture trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data modeling or data warehousing.
• At least 5 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or an equivalent cloud computing platform.
• Strong background in SQL, ETL/ELT tools, data modeling tools, and RDBMS.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and patterns.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with Unix, Linux, or an equivalent operating system.
• Experience with data engineering or data pipeline development.
