Databricks Solutions Architect Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, or Houston, United States. Work includes in-person time in local hirify.global offices and on client sites, with possible local or out-of-state travel. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $136,000–$217,000 per year, plus a 12% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $152,320–$243,040.

What you will do

• Design and deliver modern data engineering, analytics, and data platform solutions using Databricks.
• Partner with clients to assess existing data environments and define data strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Architect, migrate, implement, administer, and optimize data solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Lead project delivery, manage work plans and deliverables, and build trusted client relationships.
• Mentor, train, and coach team members while supporting team development and positive collaboration.
• Contribute to client proposals, business development strategies, and a diverse portfolio of consulting engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in professional services or a related industry.
• Professional Databricks certification, specifically Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional or Databricks Certified Machine Learning Professional.
• Expertise in SQL and Apache Spark, including PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Experience with data engineering, data modeling, data governance, data security, networking, DevOps or DataOps, and modern data warehousing.
• Competency in at least three Databricks technologies, including Lakehouse architecture, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Auto Loader, Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines, Asset Bundles, CI/CD, or Databricks SQL.

Nice to have

• Databricks Champion status.
• Experience with C#, Java, Scala, R, DAX, MDX, or M.
• Experience with data science, machine learning, Mosaic AI, MLflow, model serving, or generative AI.
