Global Capital Markets Relationship Manager I (Global Capital Markets)

Salary: $85,800.00–$143,000.00 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Manage client relationships and daily administration for assigned Global Capital Markets accounts with simple to moderate intricacy, complexity, and risk.
• Monitor account systems, databases, controls, cash flows, fee billing, reporting, and tickler processing.
• Review and analyze legal documents and agreements, provide comments to counsel, and coordinate risk and regulatory compliance activities with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Audit.
• Resolve control and client service issues and work with attorneys, financial advisors, interested parties, and service partners to structure and close transactions.
• Participate in sales calls, client meetings, presentations, transaction closings, fee proposals, and activities supporting client retention, expansion, and new business.
• Support other Relationship Managers, mentor less experienced associates when needed, and maintain internal control and audit standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related experience, or a combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or work experience including at least 1 year of related experience.
• High proficiency with personal computers and pertinent software.
• Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting legal documents.
• Experience calculating discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
• Familiarity with corporate structures, relevant laws, and regulations.
• Proven problem-solving skills and strong analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of Global Capital Markets client service experience.
• Working toward or already holding CCTS (Certified Corporate Trust Specialist) certification.
• Working knowledge of specialized internal software applications.
• Demonstrated sense of ownership in jobs or projects.
