Lead Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in-office.

Base pay: $128,000–$224,000 per year, plus annual bonus/commission and equity.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end technology solutions, including systems strategy, integration services, and custom application development.
• Lead the full development lifecycle from architecture and coding through testing, customization, and deployment.
• Develop new technology product ideas and strategic product extensions, defining specifications and coordinating implementation across functions.
• Partner with infrastructure, network, and systems architects to create technical specifications for scalable and secure solutions.
• Provide consulting expertise in information security, data strategy, systems architecture, and application integration.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems development, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven ability to design, code, test, and customize complex technology solutions aligned with client or business requirements.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working across global, matrixed teams.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in computer engineering and emerging industry technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in capital markets, fintech, or a regulated technology environment.
• Background in technology strategy consulting or client-facing solution delivery.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, API architecture, or enterprise systems integration.
