Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Onsite at the customer's site in Chantilly, Virginia, United States.

Salary: $155,000–180,000 per year.

What you will do

• Extract, transform, standardize, and ingest data from multiple sources into consolidated environments.
• Support continuous automation of data-ingestion processes.
• Develop and integrate applications for analytic workflows.
• Design and develop data services and pipelines as part of an Agile/Scrum team.
• Work with program management, software engineers, and architects to implement and document complex, evolving requirements.
• Handle multiple tasks under changing requirements and deadlines while contributing to customer service, innovation, collaboration, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Counterintelligence or Full-Scope polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Math, Finance, Statistics, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency parsing data in different formats for machine-learning applications.
• Proficiency with Linux shell scripting.
• Experience using statistical programming languages such as Python to extract and manipulate data.
• Technical proficiency transforming structured and unstructured datasets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate across organizational levels and explain technical terms to non-technical audiences, with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• In-scope Counterintelligence polygraph.
• Advanced technical degree, such as a Master's degree.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Oracle Converged Database.
• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience working with Department of Defense organizations or performers.
• DoD-approved 8570, IAT Level II certification, such as CySA+ or Security+.
