Associate Principal, Product Operations (Enterprise Device Management)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid working with attendance at the Berlin campus 2 days a week

What you will do

• Own the global restaurant Android device fleet, including allocation, provisioning, lifecycle management, key results, and improvement initiatives.
• Operate and enhance the MDM ecosystem across configuration, enrollment, policies, compliance, accounts, incidents, tickets, support, and country-specific changes.
• Plan and run global software rollouts, app updates, firmware upgrades, staged deployments, rollback strategies, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Validate Android devices, firmware versions, and MDM configurations before release, and lead cost- and efficiency-improvement projects.
• Manage mid- and senior-level stakeholders, develop internal integrations with the MDM Product Owner, and contribute domain expertise to the product roadmap.
• Guide junior team members, document processes, create training materials and knowledge bases, improve ticketing workflows, and provide on-call support when required.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience managing large-scale Android device environments, including both consumer and B2B devices.
• In-depth knowledge of an MDM platform, ideally SOTI MobiControl.
• Solid understanding of networking technologies and concepts, including TCP/IP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and mobile network connectivity.
• Proven ability to manage mid- and senior-level stakeholders independently in a global, multicultural environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly as priorities change.
• Analytical, independent, and communicative working style.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with other enterprise-scale MDM solutions, such as VMware Workspace ONE/AirWatch or Ivanti/MobileIron.
• Additional languages.
