Compliance Manager (iGaming)

Location: Hybrid role based in Valletta, Malta; candidates must be based in Malta or able to work from Malta.

What you will do

• Manage and support compliance strategy and jurisdictional compliance activity across multiple markets.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain compliance control frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate changes into clear actions for the business.
• Oversee licensing activity, licence conditions, regulatory filings, and communications.
• Lead internal and external compliance audits and follow up on remediation actions.
• Prepare reports for senior management and the Board, and represent the business in regulatory meetings and industry forums.

Requirements

• At least three years of compliance experience in the gambling industry.
• Strong B2B gambling compliance experience; relevant B2C experience may be considered when a transition to B2B is demonstrated.
• Understanding of multi-jurisdictional gambling regulation, licensing, and compliance frameworks, ideally involving Spain or Latin America.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, independent judgement, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
• Must be based in Malta or able to work from Malta.

Nice to have

• Professional fluency in Spanish.
• Direct B2B gambling compliance experience covering Spain or Latin America.
• Master’s degree or professional compliance qualification such as ICA or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional certification.
• Experience with regulatory meetings, industry forums, or complex licensing discussions.
• Additional languages relevant to international markets.
