OTC Trader (Crypto)

Location: Remote-first, with listed locations in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.

What you will do

• Support the OTC desk in increasing trade volume by understanding client liquidity and trading needs and assisting with execution across OTC products.
• Learn and assist with pricing and execution using internal trading systems under the guidance of senior traders.
• Work with Sales to identify new OTC clients and business opportunities.
• Assist with trade investigations, risk management, post-trade analysis, and algorithm performance analysis.
• Collaborate with trade operations and developers to improve middle-office operations, reporting, and internal pricing and execution systems.

Requirements

• Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, mathematics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Prior internship or up to 3 years of experience in trading, sales and trading, or financial markets is preferred; exposure to the OTC trade lifecycle is a plus.
• Foundational understanding of crypto markets and liquidity concepts.
• Eagerness to learn pricing and execution methods and understand the roles of exchanges, liquidity providers, and market makers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a self-motivated and detail-oriented approach.
• Strong interest in the crypto and DeFi industry is highly preferred.
