What you will do

• Lead multiple software engineering teams supporting mobile game development, AI initiatives, R&D projects, and FinOps cost optimisation.
• Guide teams in applying AI to accelerate development workflows and improve business outcomes.
• Validate technology choices, architecture, and code quality, contributing hands-on when needed.
• Identify engineering gaps, improve processes, and create team growth opportunities.
• Represent engineering teams with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders.
• Own team roadmaps and partner with technical leaders across hirify.global on best practices and engineering culture.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Direct experience managing software engineering teams and hands-on software development experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering processes, code quality, build and release pipelines, security, and live operations.
• Experience developing mobile applications using native iOS/Android technologies, Unity, or Unreal.
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages, including Java, C#, C++, Python, or Go.
• Familiarity with Agile development methods and tools.

Nice to have

• Game development experience.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
