Operations Intern (Fintech)

hirify.global provides an Investment API that enables fintechs and financial institutions to offer investment products and retirement-planning services.

What you will do

• Process incoming and outgoing securities account and PEA transfers with banks and brokers in France and across Europe, from instruction receipt through securities and cash settlement.
• Maintain communication with banks, brokers, custodians, and clients while following up on requests and outstanding actions.
• Check securities and cash positions, reconcile movements with the custodian, and analyse breaks.
• Investigate unsettled or rejected instructions, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions with counterparties and internal teams.
• Review and record PEA tax statements and process operations on French registered shares, including conversions and registrations or de-registrations.
• Monitor SLAs and KPIs, write operating procedures, and identify automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Master's degree, M1 or M2, in Finance, Banking, Economics, or Law from a business school, engineering school, or university.
• Ability to sign an internship agreement; gap-year students and recent Master's graduates are welcome.
• Native-level or bilingual French proficiency (C2).
• Comfortable working in English.
• Rigour, attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and an interest in solving complex problems.
• Confidence with spreadsheets.

Nice to have

• First experience in banking, back office, middle office, or securities operations.
• Knowledge of PEA, post-trade operations, or Euroclear France.
• Knowledge of SQL or Python.
