Senior Software Engineer — Wealth Management Systems

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; primarily from the city-centre office, with flexibility to work from home when it makes sense. Candidates should already be based in Copenhagen or be ready to relocate.

hirify.global is building a fintech platform for wealth managers, asset managers, family offices, and financial institutions covering portfolio management, reporting, compliance, trading, and client engagement.

What you will do

• Develop product and system designs for portfolio data, reporting, fees, reconciliation, instruments, transactions, cash, performance, and trading.
• Investigate root causes across financial data, calculations, APIs, integrations, operational processes, and production systems.
• Turn ambiguous requirements into reusable platform solutions by working with users and customer-facing colleagues.
• Use AI agents for implementation while directing them, challenging assumptions, reviewing output, and defining tests and evidence for safe production deployment.
• Lead when your knowledge makes you the right person to lead, follow through on commitments, and help teammates succeed.

Requirements

• Deep experience in wealth management, asset management, private banking, portfolio management, investment operations, trading, custody, or related financial infrastructure.
• Ability to develop sound product and system designs for complex financial workflows.
• Ability to investigate problems across financial data, calculations, APIs, integrations, operational processes, and production systems.
• Strong product thinking for ambiguous requirements and the ability to distinguish reusable platform needs from customer-specific preferences.
• Technical strength to identify weak abstractions, incorrect assumptions, missing edge cases, security problems, and unsafe production behaviour.
• Ability to work collaboratively across the team with autonomy, initiative, sound judgment, and follow-through.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance calculations, valuations, fees, reporting, reconciliation, corporate actions, or portfolio-management systems.
