Senior Python Developer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable Python backend services for vehicle data, data enrichment, and pricing.
• Deploy and integrate machine learning models into production environments.
• Develop REST APIs and integrations with external data providers and internal systems.
• Ensure production services are reliable, maintainable, and performant.
• Collaborate with engineers and Data Science colleagues across hirify.global and AutoScout24.
• Own solutions from development through deployment and ongoing improvements, including the use of AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience in software engineering, particularly backend development using Python.
• Experience deploying and integrating machine learning models into production systems, plus a good understanding of machine learning concepts and real-world applications.
• Experience developing web services, REST APIs, and integrations.
• Experience working with databases and data-driven applications.
• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Experience taking ownership of software solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Good communication skills in English and experience collaborating across teams.
• Curiosity, pragmatism, ownership, and the ability to solve complex technical problems and work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• Experience with MLOps practices and tools.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
• Experience with data enrichment, pricing solutions, or automotive data.
