Google Cloud & Knowledge Catalog Engineer

Location: Poland; work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

What you will do

• Design, configure, implement, and enhance the Google Knowledge Catalog platform.
• Develop integrations for automated metadata acquisition, synchronization, enrichment, and lifecycle management.
• Design and implement data lineage and impact analysis capabilities.
• Integrate the platform with enterprise access management and authorization mechanisms.
• Define Infrastructure as Code standards, deployment automation, monitoring, reporting, and operational controls.
• Support data governance solutions, technical analyses, proof of concepts, documentation, platform handover, operational readiness, knowledge transfer, and collaboration with business analysts and governance stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with platform configuration and system integration, including APIs.
• Experience developing enterprise data management or metadata management solutions.
• Understanding of data governance and metadata management concepts.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation.
• Experience preparing technical documentation and conducting proof-of-concept and technical analysis activities.
• Understanding of access management and authorization concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Google Knowledge Catalog.
• Experience implementing data lineage solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring and observability practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in regulated industries.
• Experience supporting production handover and operational readiness processes.
• Experience conducting technical training and knowledge transfer sessions.
