Data Engineer with German (Snowflake)

Location: Hybrid work model in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, or Gdansk, Poland

What you will do

• Build and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Develop ELT pipelines and dimensional data models with SQL and dbt.
• Test and deploy data models through CI/CD workflows.
• Use Git and Bitbucket for branching, pull requests, and collaborative development.
• Support containerized deployments in Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Work on a data engineering project for a major Swiss transportation client.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse.
• Strong SQL, data modelling, ELT, and dimensional modelling skills.
• Practical experience with dbt development, testing, and deployment.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD workflows, Python, and containerization concepts.
• German proficiency at minimum B2 level.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Entra ID, Blob Storage, or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Helm Charts, Artifactory, Argo Workflows, or comparable orchestration tools.
• Experience with finance or investment data products.
• Background in business analysis and requirements engineering.
