Senior Analyst – Relationship MAC (Agribusiness Banking)

Location: Hybrid in Armidale, Brisbane, Moree, Sydney or Tamworth, Australia; working time is split between the office and home.

What you will do

• Support Major Agribusiness Client Relationship Managers across Country Banking and act as a key contact for clients and advisers.
• Prepare and coordinate complex lending applications and documentation from client request through settlement.
• Conduct customer due diligence, AML/CTF risk assessments and KYC reviews.
• Manage branch prudential and operational requirements, loan arrears and excesses, escalating issues when required.
• Coordinate settlements and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Promote operational efficiency, use workflow tools to manage priorities, and mentor Analysts and Associate Analysts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in banking, finance or agriculture.
• Demonstrated experience preparing complex lending or credit submissions.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with sophisticated client structures and complex transactions.
• Strong understanding of AML/CTF obligations, CDD requirements and KYC processes.
• Knowledge of rural and agribusiness sectors.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Valid Australian work rights are required.
