Finance Manager - Investor Relations & Corporate Performance

Location: Hybrid working in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia

What you will do

• Lead regular Board performance packs, translating financial and operational drivers, risks, and opportunities into executive-level narratives.
• Coordinate Finance inputs for half-year and full-year results, trading updates, and AGM materials within tight market timetables.
• Own internal consensus models, monitor market expectations, benchmark performance against industry peers, and identify emerging investor focus areas.
• Analyze market sentiment, valuation drivers, and analyst debates to support Board and Executive Leadership Team decisions.
• Partner with Investor Relations on earnings messaging, analyst briefing packs, and financial analysis for disclosure decisions.
• Improve analytical tools, reporting frameworks, and processes while building strong relationships across FP&A, Financial Control, and business finance teams.

Requirements

• CA, CPA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 7–10+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance, Investor Relations, or Board reporting in a complex or listed corporate environment.
• Strong financial modeling skills and a deep understanding of financial statements, value drivers, and capital markets mechanics.
• Ability to synthesize complex operational and financial data into concise, executive-ready presentations.
• Confidence working with senior executives in fast-paced reporting and results cycles.
• Genuine interest in listed-company performance, investor expectations, and capital markets dynamics.
