Associate Director - Forensic Technology, Investigations & Discovery

What you will do

• Manage investigations day to day, including work planning, team allocation, budget tracking, quality control, and client communication.
• Lead teams of three to six professionals across concurrent workstreams and coach, review, and appraise junior colleagues.
• Design and oversee forensic analysis, including transaction and journal entry testing, accounting record reconstruction, funds tracing, third-party payment review, and analysis of large document populations.
• Conduct and document witness and subject interviews, typically alongside external counsel.
• Direct forensic technology workstreams covering data preservation and processing, structured data analytics, search term design, and eDiscovery review protocols.
• Draft investigation and expert report sections, contribute to proposals, pitches, client presentations, and thought leadership, and support recruiting as the team grows.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of relevant experience in forensic accounting, investigations, internal audit, transaction services, or forensic technology.
• Proven experience independently managing engagements and teams.
• A professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, CFE, or CIA, or an equivalent technical track record in forensic data analytics.
• Strong command of accounting and financial reporting, or deep expertise in forensic data platforms; ideally both.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Composure, discretion, and a methodical approach to evidence.
